1. It’s 10am on a hot summer Tuesday, and you’re wearing a Vintage Gucci bag out to meet a friend for a morning coffee.

I love the orangey-brown leather of the bag, and the minimal hardware. Lately, I’m drawn to large and oversized slouchy bags, and this one fits the bill. I’d wear it with a black tshirt + black denim jorts + black belt + black mary janes. When styling shorts, I stay away from sandals (especially if they’re too “open” or look like flip-flops), and choose more structured, closed shoes. It dresses the short up a bit.

2. It’s 1pm on a Friday, and you’re wearing a breezy Prada top to run errands before the weekend.

This is my idea of a perfect summer outfit — the poplin long sleeve top with a tie front, plus the pleated bermudas, and a roomy straw bag. The tomato red sandals give it an extra something.

3. It’s 6pm on a Saturday, and you’re wearing vintage Prada for the sunset ceremony of a black tie wedding.

There’s nothing like a gorgeous vintage black dress for a wedding. Style this with simple gold studs, a pretty vintage clutch (this one is Bottega via The Real Real), and easy slip on heels. If your date is wearing a jacket, borrow it if you get cold at night!

4. It’s 5pm on Thursday, and you’re headed to happy hour in vintage Chanel.

I know, I know — ANOTHER straw bag. But, they’re on my mind and in my cart. This time, paired with a stunning vintage Chanel sleeveless top, some baggy darker wash denim, and suede mary janes.

5. It’s 3pm on a Friday, and you and your overstuffed Tod’s tote just boarded a flight for a long weekend away.

I cannot say enough good things about this Tod’s tote. Mine is in a beige leather, and the size of the bag is ideal for travel. It has many little compartments on the inside, plus a zipper pocket in the middle for your wallet and passport. The price is also unbeatable at less than $200. Would be perfect with a lightweight sweater, slouchy jeans, and ballet flats for any flight this summer.
